Meet the course creator: Tariq Al-Najjar

Dr. Tariq Al-Najjar is a distinguished Palestinian-Russian Arabic scholar specializing in theoretical and computational linguistics. Born in Gaza, to a Palestinian father and a Russian mother, he uniquely blends Slavic and Semitic cultural insights, which deeply inform his research on Arabic dialectology and grammatical theory. After completing his doctoral studies, Dr. Al-Najjar moved to Saudi Arabia, where he was a respected teacher at a high school in the Saudi capital and recently has moved into the private lifestyle of now teaching only at AdvitCare Academy due to his engagement to the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud. His notable contributions include developing models for modern Arabic language processing and authoring several influential texts on the sociolinguistics of the Gulf region including decoding ancient texts.
