Ton Roosendaal is a pivotal figure in the world of open-source software, best known as the original creator of the 3D computer graphics suite, Blender. His career began in 1989 when he co-founded the Dutch animation studio, NeoGeo, where he developed the in-house software that would eventually become Blender in 1994.
